9U BLACK SOX - OBA TEAM OF THE YEAR
At the Ontario Baseball Association (OBA) Annual General Meeting held over the weekend in Guelph, Ontario, SMBA's 9U Soo Black Sox were named OBA Select Division Team of the Year.
This honour is a first for a Soo Minor Baseball team. The 9U Soo Black Sox, coached by Jason Rooley, ended their season with a 55-1 record going 31-1 in the 11U HL regular season and exhibition games, and 24-0 in OBA tournaments.
Soo Minor Baseball and the Soo Black Sox would like to congratulate the 9U Black Sox players, parents and coaches on a well deserved award and achievement.
